Because I am an energy healer (Reiki Master and Master Soul Coaching® Practitioner and Trainer) and teacher, people are always asking me how they can raise their energy/vibration. My definition of life force energy is the energy that you are born with, the energy that circulates around you and in your body, that causes you to be “alive”. If your life force energy is low or restricted, you may not feel as well as you should or you could be suffering from illness. Here are some easy things that you can do anytime, that will help you raise your life force energy. You can do as many as you feel guided to use and they are not listed in any special order. The paragraphs below are the things that I advise that they do:
Spending time in nature. Connecting to the natural world helps you connect to your inner self. When we feel connected, we feel like everything falls into place easily in our lives. You could even walk barefoot in the grass. If you are unable to get outside, you could sit by an open window or look at pictures of nature and close your eyes and imagine being there.
Listen to what your inner self is asking of you when it comes to eating. Do you crave fresh fruit or vegetables? We often crave certain foods that our body needs the specific nutrients of. Eating raw foods (fruits and veggies) that have higher life force energy boosting abilities is one the easiest ways to improve your life. Our minds are sharper and our bodies stronger when we eat what our bodies truly need. Consider eating an assortment of colors when it comes to choosing your fruit and veggies. Giving yourself a variety will ensure that you get a wide range of vitamins and minerals in your diet.
Consuming less animal products which often have a heavy energetic burden can significantly raise your energy. Unfortunately, animal products can contain antibiotics, hormones, heavy metals and the negative energies of the animal from which they came. I’m not saying you have to be a vegetarian, but be aware that everything you eat has energy. If you are suffering from poor health, you may not be able to handle the energetic burden of eating meat. Even reducing your consumption of meat or animal products can make a difference.
Cleaning or decluttering - Be aware of everything around you. Do you have a sense that the energy around you feels light or heavy? Do you feel good here or worn down? Even non-living things hold energy. Do you have a lot of clutter? Is your home or work space disorganized? Do the spaces you spend a lot of your time need cleaning or decluttering? Your environment can impact your energy and even your health overall.
I know this one is hard for people: Lessening or eliminating sugar and caffeine. Your body becomes addicted to both of these. Once you break the addiction, it is easier to stay away. Sugar feeds viruses and disease. It also slows your brain down. Caffeine, although it feels good when we have it, throws the rhythm of our central nervous system out of balance. Our bodies are always working to correct the imbalances, but when the body is never given enough time to correct the problem, we can have serious consequences to our life force energy.
For some this one is easy - for others this may be the one they chose not to do. Lessening or eliminating alcohol. Your body doesn’t see this as helpful. Remember what alcohol is. It is fermented (rotten grain or fruit) so your body has to work really hard to fix the imbalances that the alcohol causes. If your goal when drinking is to relax there are other very effective ways to do this that will improve your energy not deplete it. Alcohol is also a depressant and it kills brain cells so if you want to partake you may want to limit it to special occasions.
Make sure to drink plenty of water. Your body can not properly dispose of toxins and other waste without enough water. Many people are chronically dehydrated. You can always improve your water by adding fresh lemon or cucumber.
Reduce or eliminate watching TV, listening to the radio or reading newspapers. Especially the news. It is full of a lot of negative energy. Carefully consider the source of what you chose to influence you. Is the information true? Is it actually helpful to your life? How do you feel afterward (better, worse, neutral)? I have found working with many people that simply eliminating watching or listening to the news that their anxiety and stress significantly improve.
I know that you have heard this one before but exercise can improve your energy. Not only your physical energy but your life force energy. You could take a walk in nature or take a yoga class. Whatever sounds good. Our bodies were designed to be used not to sit at a desk all day. So keep that in mind and see what you can do to get moving.
This is one of my favorites, meditate. You can do any kind of meditation. If it feels good and you find it helpful, then it is right for you. I often suggest that people start with guided meditations because they are easier and your mind gets the same benefits as quiet meditation. Find a meditation that has a topic that works for you and do it as often as you can. You can change up your mediation so that you rotate through several with different focuses. Every day is ideal. If you can’t fit it in everyday, then remember that every time you can meditate is helpful.
Listen to your body - You are an intelligent being and you ultimately know what your body needs. You may just have forgotten how to listen to your inner self. The good news is you can always relearn how to listen to that inner voice that wants what is best for you. That part of you that knows how to help you live the most amazing life.
If you are looking to improve your health and happiness you are not alone. You also don’t have to do it by yourself. It is my life’s mission to help others live a more fulfilling life.
I am wishing you great healing and happiness,
